CHEP Releases Upgrades to Its Asset Recovery Program - Mar 18, 2022
The pallet rental company has increased its basic recovery compensation from $1.15 to $1.75 per pallet loaded onto a CHEP collection truck.The most recent changes to the ARP are based on a third-party study to assess the fairness of its compensation rates.; U.S. Diesel Prices Shoot Up: From February 24th through March 14th, the average U.S. on-highway retail diesel fuel price increased 29% from $4.06/gal to $5.25/gal. Retail gasoline and diesel fuel prices have never increased at a rate that fast over a three-week period.
