EXPO Richmond 2024 Announces Important Changes - May 5, 2023
The VFPA and Virginia Tech are moving the 2024 East Coast Sawmill, Logging and Pallet Equipment Exposition (EXPO Richmond) from the Richmond Raceway Complex to the Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia. As part of the venue change, the show will be held a month earlier from April 12-13, 2024.; CAL OSHA Releases New Heat Standard: This standard, which could be adopted in the summer or fall of 2023 applies to any indoor work area in California where the temperature equals or exceeds 82 degrees Fahrenheit when employees are present.; Biden-Harris Administration Invests in Forest Products Sector: This investment supports a crucial link between resilient, healthy forests and strong rural economies and jobs in the forestry sector, especially in communities that depend on national forests and grasslands to grow and thrive.
