Federal Government Solicits Applications for Woody Biomass Utilization Grants - Feb 4, 2011 

Attempting to meet the nationwide challenge in dealing with low-valued material to create renewable energy, the federal government is seeking applicants for its Woody Biomass Utilization Grant program (WBU). Currently, $3.7 million in funding is scheduled to be available for grants this year.
