Legislative Update: Wrapping Up 2015 - Dec 18, 2015
Congress recently posted the $1.1 trillion, 2,009 page omnibus spending package. The Hardwood Federation has worked diligently over the past year on several issues that were being considered as riders to the final package. Here is a breakdown of where some of the key issues ended up.; U.S. Government Highlights Climate Change in Forest Management: Federal officials pointed to efforts by private companies to prioritize sourcing commodities in responsible ways that limit deforestation and illegal logging and encouraging sustainable practices.; Holiday Schedule: Pallet Profile will not be published January 1, 2016, according to our regular schedule.
