One thing on the agenda at the ALC was to improve the pallet industry’s outreach to government officials and regulators. The formally NWPCA unveiled plans for a new political action committee called PalletPac.; Landfill Survey Indicates Positive Pallet Disposal Trends: The industry has new data that indicates the wood pallet sector is doing a good job in terms of landfill disposal rates. The number of wood pallets heading into landfills had dropped drastically since 1998.
