In addition, pallet fires have become a major concern, especially in the West.; Wood Beats Out Plastic in Independent LCA Research: This is the first academic, peer-reviewed study to compare the life-cycle environmental impacts of different pallets in use, and it was performed without external funding that could potentially bias the findings.; CHEP Revenue Up in 1H20 Results: Seeking to lower costs, CHEP has pushed through a new recycler compensation program as well as lumber procurement initiatives. Labor and property costs continued to increase, and CHEP has been passing along these higher costs.
