The last three decades in the ocean shipping industry have brought consolidation to a sector that once had dozens of carriers. A result of that consolidation is complete reliance on less than a dozen foreign carriers to deliver our agricultural and forest products overseas, and with little oversight.; Summer 2021 Publishing Break: The staff of the Profile will publish its next issue on July 16th. We began taking off around July 4th a number of years ago to give our staff some time to catch up on projects and take some vacation.; Profile Regional Lumber Graphs: We publish our 3Q lumber price trends for hardwood cant regions in the United States.
