Huron Capital Merges Northwest Pallet Services and Prime Woodcraft; Creates Largest TPM Recycler - Sep 27, 2019
What does this mean for the pallet industry? It is a sign that consolidation is an ongoing trend as companies compete and look to obtain more market share.; Poor Quality Used Pallets Becomes Larger Problem for Customers: The results of recent survey indicated that the most common pallet problem cited was poor quality or bottom boards that result in jams or faults. Recycle Bits: Plastic pallet manufacturer Greystone Logistics recently announced a new purchase order valued at $6.8 million. Fire concerns have led Oakland, California authorities to dismantle temporary structures built out of old wood pallets. A fire at a M&M Pallet Co., a wood pallet company located near the Port of Wilmington, caused $10,000 in damage. U.S. Senators are collaborating on legislation to equip the U.S. Forest Service with more tools to manage national forests.
